Kevin Reuthen

I am a proud alumnus of Syracuse University School of Information Studies (IST). I had the honor of completing my bachelor’s degree in Information Management and Technology at IST in 1993. I later enrolled in the first information management distance learning class and received my MS in Information Resource Management in 1999. I have always felt the IST program is unique and valuable with its emphasis on diversity in terms of classes, faculty, and students. The greatest skill I can point to from graduating from IST is being able to effectively communicate and work efficiently with a challenging diverse team. This has really allowed me to excel in my field of consulting and management.

I am currently the Global Leader for the 3D Visible Enterprise Enablement team at Unisys. This is a consulting practice focused on Fortune 100 firms and public sector government. I am leading this strategic practice area for Unisys, which is being well recognized by analysts firms. We are seeing 25-60% cost savings and performance improvement with clients. 3D Visible Enterprise entails bringing together industry consulting solutions and domain proven assets, methodology, and leading industry standard technology tools. This is really an exciting area as we are leading industry standards. We are having tremendous success with clients regarding business process modeling and technology process modeling and linking them together to achieve traceability. Essentially it is about seeing the results of your decisions before they are made and understanding full cause and effect relationships.
